Step 1: Liquid Pre-Treatment - Apply our chlorine dioxide liquid solution to floors and walls. Power of Chlorine Dioxide: Chlorine dioxide is a potent oxidizing agent that not only eliminates a wide range of odors but does so by breaking down the odor-causing molecules themselves. It’s particularly effective against the musty, damp smells typically found in basements and garages, as well as odors stemming from chemicals and solvents.

Begin by applying the liquid Chlorine dioxide solution as directed, then follow up with the gas treatment. This dual approach guarantees a complete overhaul of your basement or garage’s foul odors, making it cleaner and odor-free.
1 Dead Scent Pre-Treat packet makes a 2-gallon stock solution (do not open until ready to use) Any unused solution can be stored for up to 4 weeks in a cool, dark location. It can be applied with a mop, sprayer, or fogger. Use on wood, tile, concrete, canvas, porous & non-porous surfaces and fabrics that can be cleaned with water.
If using on fabrics, always do a colorfast test in an inconspicuous area.
WARNING! Do not use on: linen, suede, household carpets or instrument panels/displays, and acrylics.
Each Dead Scent gas treatment pack contains one, single-use treatment. Note: Gas treatments take 6 hours and once the treatment has been completed you will need to air out for a minimum of 1 hour. Some may choose to air out longer.
Important: The area should be sealed, secured, and enclosed (i.e. No access allowed to people, plants, or pets).
Step 1: Open the Dead Scent package and place treatment tray centrally onto a flat surface.
Step 2: Add water to the treatment tray to the fill line and then place treatment pack (Blue Side Down) into the tray.
Step 3: Exit the space and make sure all windows and doors are closed. This area should be sealed, secured and enclosed (i.e. No access allowed to people, plants or pets).
Step 4: Most treatments are 6 hours (treating overnight can improve results) After treatment has finished, air-out for 1 hour.
